Recently I received my passport with the stamp of visa along with the confirmation of residence visa.

however, i have noticed that my middle name has been mis-spelled (1 letter only). Well I cannot say it is the mistake of the embassy. The way my middle name was written in my passport is that the "D" looks like an "O" so the staff in embassy wrote "O" instead of "D".

The visa and the confirmation of Residence Visa bears the letter "O". By reading my passport and my visa only they are both the same.

Would you think this will create a problem at the port of entry at the time I landed and will it be in the future?

please advice what action to be taken.

thanks,

jjkiah

Hello Jjkiah,

You may want to contact the nearest Visa Office to find out what your options are at this point.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
