Hello,
I hope to find some help here!
Here is the situation.
I met a guy who lives in Ontario and I am from Alberta. I am expecting and we are planning to get married in March and to live in Alberta, so he is looking to relocate.
The thing is his apartment lease agreement expires on July 31 and he is planning to leave in February, so there will be 5 months left until his lease expires.
How can he break the lease with minumum financial consequences?
If he has to pay one monthly rent for cancellation fee that's ok.
Do you think that he can negotiate with the landlord to let him break the lease if he explains what our situation is?
It would be trrible for us to stay separated, just because of his lease.
ANy input would be much appreciated.
