I applied for Canadian Citizenship Oct 2010.did my test Nov 2011.at the time of test, they told me that I have 2 weeks less than1095 days and I have to fill a RQ.

I withdrew that application and applied again on Jan 2012.I received RQ letter again last month.I submited RQ and all supporting documents.

I live in Canada since 2005 and working snce 2008.

Any idea about the timeline for RQ.

I appreciate your response.

Hello Reza,

Thanks for sharing your situation with us.

According to several other discussion forum members, the process of submitting the residence questionnaire can take up to 24 months. Each case is different and will be processed on a case by case basis.

We hope that others in a similar situation can share their experiences and suggestions with you.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

I had my test on July 31 in Vancouver and got the RQ the same day. The official told me that fill up the form and send back within 45 days. He said it just to help judge on the application review. When I came home and read it, found out it requires tons of documents....On the RQ section 7, it says list all trips outside of Canada (including day trips and trips to US). I had some day trips to US from Vancouver by road without staying overnight (went to US in the morning and back Canada at night). Do I still list those all in RQ? The border didnt stamp every trip so I dont really remember all those short day trip with no staying overnight. I heard it's taking long time to get your travel history......Any advice on this?? Many thanks!!!

Another question, where can I get a new RQ form? I didnt find it online.....I sort had some mistakes and need to correct....
