Canada Student Grants Increasing

Starting August 1st, Canada Student Grants will increase by 50%. If you are a full-time student from a low-income family, your grant amount will increase from $2000 a year to $3000. If you are from a middle-income family, your grant will increase from $800 to $1200. If you are a part-time student from a low-income family, the grant amount will increase from $1200 to $1800 per year.
Under the Repayment Assistance Plan, you will no longer be required to make a repayment until you start to earn a minimum of $25,000 per year. This change will begin from November 1st.
