New Learning Tools in Ontario’s classrooms

Monday, November 21, 2016

As part of a strategy to improve learning, the Ontario Government has partnered with the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) to bring innovative technology into classrooms.

Through a partnership with the OCE, the Ontario Government has created Advancing Education, a program in place to connect elementary schools, high schools, and postsecondary institutions with Ontario-made technologies. The goal is to improve learning by introducing new teaching approaches and by giving students an opportunity to apply their skills with the help of technology.

You can find more information on elementary schools and secondary schools in Ontario on Settlement.Org. You can also find an overview of the postsecondary education and its institutions.
