New Regulations to Take Effect Across Ontario

The Ontario Government has announced regulations that will take effect on January 1, 2017. The regulation changes relate to:
- The Land Transfer Tax
- Electricity costs
- Child support payments
- Menu labels for restaurant chains
- Vehicle towing and storage
- Payday loans
- Legal parental status
- Police carding
- Birth name changes
- Sexual violence on colleges and universities
The government also announced a longer list of changes to regulations and fees that will take effect on January 1, 2017.
