Warning About Immigration Scams

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is warning newcomers about immigration scams. Fake letters have been circulated with the CBSA logo asking people to pay fees or taxes. Some scams also ask people to call premium phone numbers or send texts to claim a prize. Learn the signs of fraud to protect yourself and do not give personal information to anyone you do not trust.
If you find out about a scam, contact your local police and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
