Setting: A husband and wife are planning a daytrip from Toronto to Niagara Falls

Speaker A = Husband     Speaker B = Wife

Speaker A Let's go to Niagara Falls this weekend for Canada Day Click to Listen

Speaker B Great idea, let’s go!  We need to get a good map because we’ve never been to the Falls before. Click to Listen

Speaker A The car rental place gave me a map of Southern Ontario, which includes the Niagara Region. Click to Listen

Speaker B Let's look at the map. Click to Listen

Speaker A Hmm, here's Toronto, and here's Niagara Falls. Click to Listen

Speaker A We'll take the Queen Elizabeth Way Westbound to the QEW Niagara. We'll stop at a few places along the way. Click to Listen

Speaker B We could visit Niagara on the Lake. There are many vineyards and fruit stands along the side roads. Click to Listen

Speaker A That's a great idea. We could pick up some fruits and vegetables and have a picnic by the Niagara Parkway in Niagara on the Lake. Click to Listen

Speaker B That sounds like fun. I'd like to have a picnic by Lake Ontario. Click to Listen

Speaker A We should try to get to Niagara Falls by mid-afternoon. Click to Listen

Speaker B I want to take the boat tour called, 'Maid of the Mist'. It goes right under the Falls and the mist rains all over you. Click to Listen

Speaker A I'd love to do that too! I've seen a picture, and the tourists all have raincoats on while they're in the boat. It looks like fun. Click to Listen

Speaker B Don't forget the camera. I want to take lots of pictures of the falls. Click to Listen

Speaker A I won't forget. I hope we see a rainbow at Niagara Falls. Click to Listen

Speaker B I'm looking forward to the fireworks at night. Click to Listen

Speaker A What time should we leave tomorrow? Click to Listen

Speaker B We should leave right after breakfast, say 9:00 am because there will be heavy traffic on the highway. Click to Listen

Speaker A Sounds good. Let's get everything ready tonight; the camera, the map, sunhats, sunscreen, and some snacks. Click to Listen

Speaker B I think that's everything then. We just need to stop at the bank tomorrow morning. Click to Listen
