Oshawa Family Law Service Centre Opens
Eligible individuals who live in the Durham Region or have a court case at the Oshawa court can now receive legal help at the new Family Law Service Centre. The centre also provides referrals to other community services.

New Tax Credit to Benefit Farmers and Communities
The Food Donation Tax Credit for Farmers is giving farmers a tax credit valued at 25% of the fair market value of the agricultural products they donate to community food programs, including food banks and student nutrition programs.

Canada Job Grant Launched in Ontario
The Canada Job Grant will provide up to $15,000 per person for training costs. Graduates will receive a mix of in-class training and on-the-job experience through organizations like career colleges.

Seatbelts and Child Car Seats Save Lives
The Government of Ontario would like to reminder drivers and passengers of the importance of wearing a seatbelt in order to stay safe on the road. It is the law for everyone in a vehicle to wear a seatbelt. Young children may also need to use car seats.
