Crisis Program: Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to youth and families in crisis due to trauma, emotional or behaviour problems or mental health issues * Crisis and Intervention staff will - respond immediately to stabilize the situation. - decrease the severity of crisis within the family - increase their capacity to manage further crisis - access formal and informal supports Community Support Program: Community Support Services in Chatham-Kent provide flexible and individualized supports to children and youth and their familise, who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioural difficulties or complex challenges * Service can be provided on a short-term basis (until family stability is regained) or longer-term, as needed * Support workers provide direct support to the child, youth and familly, in the home or community
