March Break Activities in Ontario and in your Municipality

Monday, March 10, 2014

Ontario and your municipality offer many youth and family activities during schools' March Break (March 10 -14). Many are free or at a low cost. Search your municipality's website for a calendar of March Break events and activities.

Here are some ideas, courtesy of the Ontario Government:

  • Discover the wonders of science, explore nature and travel through space at Science North in Sudbury.
  • See demonstrations of samurai skills, write your name in hieroglyphs or build a LEGO city inspired by the Forbidden City at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
  • Hike natural trails and join one of the educational programs with park naturalists at the Pinery Provincial Park in Grand Bend.
  • View sharks, barracudas, moray eels, moon jellies and stingrays (touch some of them, too!) at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada in Toronto.
  • Tap into fun during the Maple Syrup Festival at the Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville.
