New Ontario Autism Program

The Ontario Autism Program is being transitioned to include new changes and services that will better support children and families with autism.
Beginning in June 2017, the new Ontario Autism Program will include the following changes:
- Continue to provide services for families who have children over 5 years that are being transitioned off intensive behavioural intervention (IBI) waitlist
- Improve access to diagnostic services
- Better resources for families, such as one-on-one support
- Improve autism supports in schools to help children continue with full-time studies
