Social Assistance Rates Increased

Social assistance rates have increased this fall. These changes include:

• $25 more per month for single adults receiving Ontario Works who don’t have children.
• 1% more for families receiving Ontario Works.
• 1% more for people with disabilities who access the Ontario Disability Support Program.
• 1% more for several other rates, including the Remote Communities Allowance and Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities.
