If you have experienced sexual harassment or sexual violence in the workplace or in another specific social setting, you have the right to protection under Ontario’s Human Rights Code. This can be is in addition to participating in a criminal process, or, as an alternative to a civil lawsuit. If you want to pursue a claim with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, you can get free legal services from the Human Rights Legal Support Centre.
