What services can I get if I call 211, 311 or 411? Is it free to call?
211, 311 and 411 are non-emergency numbers that you can call for local information.

Call 2-1-1 for information and referral to community and social services, such as ESL classes, financial assistance programs, health clinics, or counselling services.
211 is free, confidential, multilingual and available 24-hours a day.
You do not have to give your name or personal details to get information.

Call 3-1-1 for information about municipal programs and services, such as garbage collection, snow removal, and transit.
311 is free, multilingual and available during business hours.
311 is only available in:

411 is not free. The cost depends on your phone provider. Check with your phone company to confirm the cost.
