The Learning Place invites you to an information session: Project Management.

Modules:

• Understand the fundamentals of project management and the role of a Project Manager
• Learn the 5 Process Groups: Initiating, Planning. Executing, Monitoring, Controlling and Closing
• Explore key project management areas, including scope, schedule, cost, risk and stakeholder management
• Review the latest principles and practices from PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, including value delivery, leadership and adaptability
• Apply project management concepts and tools to real-world workplace and personal projects

This workshop is an introduction to Project Management and does not give you an PMI Certification.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, individuals must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Must live in Peel Region (Brampton, Mississauga, or Caledon)
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• Have a minimum English proficiency of CLB 6
