Nia Centre for the Arts invites you to the ReStitched: An Upcycle Fashion Program Exploring Fashion, Sustainability and Cultural Heritage.
This program provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to delve into the vibrant and evolving world of the fashion industry and will equip youth with practical skills in fashion, with a focus on upcycling and recycled fashion practices.
Participants will develop an understanding of upcycling and its environmental impact within the fashion industry, while learning design techniques to reimagine and transform existing garments.
Eligibility:
All are welcomed to apply, however, as there are only 10 spots available for these sessions, we will be prioritizing young creatives who:
- Are between the ages of 16- 24
- Can commit to the full duration of the program
Program runs from June 25th to September 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00PM
