Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto invites Newcomer Parents Discussion: How to help your children succeed at school?

A free in-person workshop series in partnership with Working Women Community Centre on how to advance equitable education for newcomer children and experience family engagement in a new way.

This program supports parents & caregivers to critically reflect on their children’s schooling experiences and provides tools in accessible language to help with identifying racial inequities in the education system.

We will cover important topics:

• Parent Involvement and Parent Engagement
• Navigating Systemic Barriers to Education
• Advocacy and Allyship
