Free Children's Dental Care Program Expanded

The Ontario Healthy Smiles Program, which provides children from low-income families with free dental care, is expanding.
Your children may be eligible if they are:
- Under 17 years old
- Residents of Ontario
- Do not have any type of dental coverage
- Have a family income of under $21,513 per year
To find out more about this program or to get an application form, visit your local public health unit. If your children are eligible, you will have to submit the following documentation in order to apply:
- Your most recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) Credit Entitlement Notice or Annual Child Tax Benefit and Ontario Child Benefit Notice.
- A piece of Government-issued identification
- Your child’s valid OHIP card
- A completed application form
