Parent and Grandparent Program Reopens in January 2018

If you are a permanent resident or Canadian citizen who would like to sponsor family members through the Parents and Grandparents Program, you can submit an “Interest to Sponsor” form as of January 2, 2018. Only eligible sponsors can submit this form from January 2 at 12pm until February 1 at 12pm.
Once you submit the “Interest to Sponsor” form, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will randomly choose who will be selected and invite applicants to apply for sponsorship.
You can find out more about sponsoring your parents or grandparents on the IRCC website or on Settlement.Org. If you are not eligible to sponsor, you may want to consider the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa.
