Province Launches Online Portal to Assist Business During COVID-19 Crisis

If your business is struggling with regulatory requirements that are negatively affecting how you conduct business during the pandemic crisis, you can now submit a request online to temporarily change those rules.

The Ontario Government announced today they launched an online portal, Help Us Help your Business Respond to COVID-19  where essential services businesses can submit requests for changes to regulatory or red tape rules that are creating obstacles and challenges for their business operations. 

Some obstacles for your business might be:

  • Regulations 
  • Policy
  • Procedures
  • Fees
  • Applications
  • Permits
  • Approvals

The province says it is prepared to allow changes to provincial regulations that are hindering businesses and negatively impacting Ontario’s supply chain.
