Resilience and Resistance: Empowering Asian International and Newcomer Students

The Chinese Canadian National Council (CCNC) and Canadian Race Relations Foundation are looking for 13-25-year-old Chinese and South Asian International and Newcomer students to take on leadership roles!

Are you interested in:

  • Advocacy
  • Building experiences
  • Learning
  • Research
  • Combating misinformation

Eligibility:

  • Chinese and South Asian international and newcomer students
  • Aged 13-25

Goals:

  • Address anti-racism and xenophobia
  • Build student leadership and mentorship
  • Develop resources and strategies for local and provincial change

Currently putting together:

  • Steering committee (looking for 1-2 international/newcomer student leaders)
  • Youth leaders (10+ international & newcomer students)
