Description
A two-day, in-person conference where youth meet funders, access real funding, refine project ideas, and build the skills to turn their visions into action.
This event brings together Black, Indigenous, and BIPOC youth between the ages of 18 to 30 from across the Greater Toronto Area who are eager to strengthen their leadership, expand their community impact, and connect directly with funders and peers. Participants will take part in hands-on capacity-building workshops, including how to write a grant, build a budget, develop logic models, and explore current and upcoming funding opportunities.
At the end of each day, youth-led projects will take the stage in a Mini-Pitch Competition, where participants can win real funding to support their work:
- First Prize: $5,000
- Second Prize: $5,000
- Third Prize: $5,000
Bonus for participants: Youth who attend both days of the conference will receive a $25 gift card as a thank-you for participating and staying engaged throughout the event.
