Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto invites you to an in-person session: Meet a Community Member.

An in-person opportunity to meet and discuss with a Community Leader- Mehrraz Ahangar

We will discuss:

• From studying the laws of the universe to empowering the people within it, her journey is one of transformation, resilience, and purpose
• Trained in physics and engineering, her career exploring how things work but found her true calling in understanding how people thrive
• After moving to Canada, Mehrraz redirected her skills toward building inclusive communities
• Today, as a SWIS Program Coordinator and leads with empathy and vision, supporting newcomer families, guiding new team members, and fostering connection and belonging.
