The YMCA Newcomer Information Centre invites you to a webinar: Car Buying: All You Need to Know.

A representative from the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) will provide resources, tips, and advice to car buyers for buying new & used cars in Ontario. The webinar is intended to inform you, as a consumer, of your rights when buying a vehicle in Ontario. After this webinar, you will leave informed and with increased confidence going into your first (or next) vehicle purchase in Ontario.

• Consumer protections (when applicable)
• Difference between buying from a dealer and buying privately
• What to look for in dealer advertisements
• What dealers must disclose about a vehicle’s history and condition

• What to do if you encounter a problem with a purchase
