Ministry of Labour Offering Seminars on Changes to Employment Standards Act

The Ministry of Labour announced it is partnering with organizations across Ontario to provide seminars on employee rights and the Employment Standards Act (ESA).

The seminars will have special focus on the recent changes to the act as a result of the Making Ontario Open for Business Act, 2018 (Bill 47).

The seminar sessions are tailored to small businesses and employer groups but the information is also beneficial to you if you are an employee. Some of the topics covered will be:

  • Minimum Wage
  • Hours of Work
  • Public Holidays
  • Leave of Absence
