New Spousal Sponsorship Application Forms

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) created a backgrounder on changes made to the spousal sponsorship process. The new application kit is due to be released on December 15, 2016. Changes include:
- One kit for spouses who live in Canada or outside Canada.
- A “Basic Guide” that summarizes the application process.
- A “Complete Guide” detailing information for all types of sponsors and applications.
- A single “Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation” form.
