Ontario Launches Online Healthcare Worker Hiring/Matching Portal

The Ontario Government announced today that they launched an online tool to help match frontline healthcare workers with employers and resources.
Due to the high demand in healthcare workers and resources needed across Ontario to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the province is actively recruiting healthcare workers to increase frontline capacity to hospitals, clinics, and assessment centres.
The online Healthcare Matching Portal allows healthcare workers to register for work opportunities. The tool is divided into the following registration sections:
- Regulated health professionals
- Other health professionals (workers not regulated by law: personal care workers, physician assistants etc.)
- Professionals in training (learners who have begun training but have not yet completed professional training)
- Volunteers
The tool also allows healthcare institutions and facilities in need of extra support to register their needs on the tool registration form.
